As you all know this was Stans last week leading our ABS class. He has done an awesome job getting our class going. We are truly going to miss him. We look forward to seeing how God is going to use him in starting more ABS classes. Stan thank you for your wisdom and knowledge you have shared with us and opening up your home to all of us. You have challenged me in studying God word.

On a different note we will be starting our new bible study curriculum on September 12th. So if you have not picked up your Divine Encounters in the Old Testament study guide/workbook get with Brad or Brian. The book should be available next Sunday as well.

This was part of my study this morning and it just reminded me of who I am in Christ and who He is to me, the reassurance that He gives and the protection and guidance that He offers when I seek His face and will for my life

Psalm 143:8-12

8 Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.

9 Deliver me, O Lord , from my enemies; I take refuge in You.

10 Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

11 For the sake of Your name, O Lord , revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.

Haylie's Memorial Service

There will be a memorial service for Haylie Darden tonight at 7 pm at Valley View.

Hey peeps, just wanted to post some prayer request from this past week: Remember Josh has an opportunity to work at Baseball Country, safety for Brooke's sister and the others she is working with (not gonna list the area, just for her continued safety, but God knows where she is and what the need is there), Stan having oral surgery this week. Blake and Courtney, pray for God's hand to move and peace and understanding for them. My prayer for them is that their faith is strengthened and not shaken during this time, that they know how much we all love them, and that this time would allow them to praise Him even in the valley that they are in, amen. We love you guys.

Also Stan has given out "homework" again, so study it and check your questions and see what you come up with. We'll see you all on Sunday morning if not sooner.

From the group page on Facebook click on info and click the web address and click follow once you are on the blog page. It appears that only admins can post to the blog, I can add up to 100 admins so let me know who wants the ability to post, everyone should be able to comment but only admins can post. I'll need email addresses to set up the admin information for you, with there being only 10 to 15 couples in our class it won't be a problem to add all as admins. Talk to you all soon.

Hey guys we wanted to invite everyone to check out our blog page for the Sunday school class. This will be a great tool to use to keep in touch and post information about our kids from Honduras that we are adopting and also the mission opportunities that will be taking place over the coming year and also our class functions. Facebook doesn't allow enough characters when you are posting information and this will also enable new prospects to check out all that we do and get a good idea of who we are without having to be members of Facebook.
